My name is Matteo De Costanzo, I'm from Naples and I moved in London at 2018.
I start drawing since I have memory, my research from art is started there.
When I was in middle school I had to choose to continue to study Art or Music and this affected my personality and I started to focus just on art and everything around it.
At the age of 15 year, I started my journey in Art School, where I gratuaded in Fine art and Sculpture, there I learned how to draw and during this 5 years I honed my skills in illustration, graphic design, traditional sculpture, drawing, portait and caricature.
On my first year in Art school I had my first exhibition with my portraits, the third year at school I became the school student leader untill I gratuaded, with the focus to improve the student's lifestyle, with great succes. During my journey I had my first job as a freelance doing portrait and caricature between city to city during summertime.
After I gratuated during my freelance job I met a Tattoo artist that asked me to study Tattoos because he saw that I had great traditional art skills, so I started to study tattoos and went to "scuola privata di Chiaia" to get my Tattoo licence.
After 1 year between self studies and getting feedback I went in my first studio at "Tattoo Lovers" in Vomero, Naples, as a Tattoo apprendice, I spent two years in that lovley studio, learning how to become a better artist and a better person, my role was to assist the tatto artist in the studio and learn how to deal with custumers.
In 2018 I decided to do the big jump and I sold my car to get some saving and I bought a no return ticket for London, with the hope to find a tattoo studio and work there and become a better tattoo artist.
I started with some part time jobs and on Jenaury 2019 I started to collaborate with "Mr.Bee Tattoo studio London".
On April 2019, during my shift in my part time job as a commis chef I had an accident at work where I had to get a surgery for my index finger, I chopped my both tendons on my left index finger. During the recovery time I was depressed and without hope and out of blue I saw that I had the chance to enroll to University to get a degree in 3D Animation and Games. I liked the idea so I quit my part time job and enrolled to "Middlesex University" for a Foundation Year in 3D Animation and Games and kept the collaboration on the Tattoo studio.
